So you’ve drawn someone to look at your website, now what? Sure they can look at cool photos and read about you and your organization but then what are they supposed to do? If you don’t tell them, and make it clear what you expect them to do most visitors will simply leave your page and move on.
This is where calls-to-action (CTA) come in. Let them know exactly what they should do next – Click Here, Download This, Learn More, Contact Us, etc. Here are a few tips to keep in mind when creating CTAs for your site:
- Make it bigger and bolder than other elements on your site – but don’t overdo it
- Make the CTA look clickable
- Keep it simple and clear what is being offered
